For 2019, the Oglesby-Snyder Grant for Equity and Cultural Diversity Committee had two grant cycles offering prospective applicants the opportunity to apply on February 1st, 2019 then August 1st, 2019.
Cycle 1 - February 1st, 2019. The committee received one application and after review did not fund the applicant. As with all applications, the Committee provided the applicant with a decision letter that included feedback from select committee members. In general, the Committee's decision was based on the application failing to have clear study variables, a dissemination plan, and constructive outcomes.
Cycle 2 - August 2nd, 2019. A second grant cycle for 2019 was opened because no proposal was funded in February. The committee received five applications for the August 1st grant cycle funding two (see below):
